What’s going on with my novels? I’ve got several in the editing process right now, working towards getting print ready.
I’ve got several more planned. I want to get all the novels in my apocalyptic fiction series written and done. I ran into quite a snag on my fourth novel in that series – I really didn’t like the way it was going. Even though I had some great scenes going there, I think I was writing ahead of my abilities back then, and needed to catch up. I still have to move that one to Scrivener and really get that one done.
Movie Scripts. Those have temporarily been on hiatus right now, but I plan on getting back to all this in July. I should have more available time to get writing done, but we’ll see.
Non Fiction books. I’m working on some of those as well, mostly from the encouragement of the Writer’s Group I’m part of.
I plan on writing my book synopsis/pitch in September, and my query letters should be finished by middle of October.
What’s your time line? Do you have an established time line for your work? When do you write your synopsis sheets? Your query letters?
If you’re not making plans, nobody is making them for you.
Hurry. Writing your novels will go a lot faster if you’re making a living writing.
