Getting Back on Track

When you get partway through your novel, and you reach a point where you don’t want to write it, something’s gone wrong.

You turned somewhere.

You lost the flow.

Here’s the simple fix – go back to where you wanted the novel to go.

When you reach a scene that you don’t want to edit, cut it. That’s where the book went wrong.

Put it aside, come back to it after a week.

Now you’re ready to get back on the horse.
